This was a telemarketing position working in their membership section. Some of the workers there accept been around for many years so they are experienced in meeting their goals and talking to people over the phone. While in that location is a stress on making goals for the calendar month, the management is very understanding and very kind when days are slow. The training is rather fast, as they take no script for people to learn. They would rather people effigy out their own mode of talking over the phone. Everyone at that place is wonderful. I would have stayed longer if the commute time wasn't so out of the way for me.

The museum is an amazing identify to work. It's fast paced and can be a claiming dealing with some of the visitors just on slow days its relaxed. Management is all nice and everyone I worked with was pretty keen.

The Museum is far more interested in its branding than in its piece of work. Managers exercise not necessarily have any management training. Your best bet is to hope that y'all're someone's favorite.

The museum is a swell place to work network and meet new people. Also the perks of seeing art everyday enjoying events and discounts from movies to hotels and parks. The museum is pretty cool and fast paced at times when an exhibition is showing.

My experience at the art museum was a temporary summer task experience with not just the museum but also collaborators from taller Puertoriqueno, Big Picture Alliance, and Esperanza. It was fun to be able to learn about the media arts and to piece of work with people from all effectually Philadelphia, from PhillyCam to NBC10, it was truly a summer to think.

Pros:-Hourly, entry, and mid-level employees tend to come from a variety of interesting backgrounds. I liked nigh of my co-workers, to the indicate where it was depressing to see so many funny, kind, smart people who love fine art get basis into a powdery lump of despair.-The art, obviously.Cons:-MANAGEMENT. I had ruby flags virtually my managing director given to me when I was offered my chore, but I figured it wasn't anything unlike from office politics from older jobs. Shame on me -- management was hateful, abusive, name-calling, sabotaging, and loved to scoff staff to make them either admit their own (not) mistakes or see them squirm. Treated all staff similar personal slaves and constantly bullied hourly employees to work overtime on weekends/nights without giving them pay (and so, non-real Hr to kick). I'yard adequately certain that there was some dubious/downright illegal scheduling going on. You are an underling who means nothing to the institution, and management volition become out of the manner to take credit for your successes or throw y'all into the fire for any (perceived and/or minor) mistakes.

Working at the museum was a nifty feel. Information technology is in the middle of a major city and the environment was e'er a new learning feel. If anyone is interested in increasing their knowledge of well known works of art, I would highly recommend that they choose to be employed here. Being employed with their help desk was always something different and gives the ability to interact with all of the employees that are there. Each day was interesting and fun to go to!

I loved my fourth dimension at the PMA. While pay was not really high enough to justify the workload, my colleagues were not bad and the work was interesting. I was lucky to have excellent managers during my entire 4 years there. My least favorite part of the visitor was the low pay and lack of vacation time.My favorite part was the ability to work with priceless art objects and amid world-renowned scholars.
